Second Life hosts another Fashion For Life - a great event in the Second Life Calendar.
This is the 10th Fashion Fair in aid of Cancer Research, the event will open its doors on the March 6th 2016 and run for 14 days , closing at 6pm slt on March 20th
The Clothing Fair 2016 promises to be even better than ever, featuring over 150 Clothing Designers , all of which have worked tirelessly to produce 3 items to be sold in aid of Cancer Research, live Music and DJ's to keep you entertained while you shop, plus a Photo Contest, Fashion Shows , Treasure Hunts, Gatchas and much much more.

SF Design has a store on the Bladerunner Sim, with the theme for this years Fashion for Life - 'That's Entertainment' I have created a tribute tuxedo based on the tux worn by David Bowie in the video of Let's Dance'

Dare to be different on the dance floor - my latest tux has an indian influence with its
dandiya vest and nehru style jacket.
Plenty of options as always -
The jacket and pants fabric have a subtle pattern and slight shine and there are 2 pairs of pants one with the lower vest on one without.
The jacket comes with and without vest on the same layer.
You will find a collar for the jacket, a shirt and jacket collar combo and a shirt collar on its own.
There are prim jacket cuffs , prim jacket cuffs with shirt cuffs . Also provided are shirt cuffs with cufflinks for you to wear without the jacket.
The flexi jacket comes in 3 premade sizes but there is also one with a resizer, just left click it for menu.
The emilio shoes in black come with this tux and feature an alpha layer.

SF Design's Tribute to Yves St Laurent

SF Design will take part today on September 25th, 10 am in the final BOSL Fashion Week show, A tribute to the great Yves Saint Laurent . (ONE OF THE ATTENDEES WILL WIN THE ENTIRE YVES SAINT LAURENT COLLECTION!!!) SF Design has entered this specially created outfit, called 'Le Smoking' a tribute to the man himself and his designs.
"'Created in 1966 by famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent the Le Smoking tuxedo suit for women was the first of its kind to earn attention in the fashion world and in popular culture. It pioneered long, minimalist, androgynous styles for women, as well as the use of power suits and the pantsuit in modern-day society.
Yves Saint-Laurent was seen by many as having empowered women by giving them the option to wear clothes that were normally worn by men with influence and power' - wikipedia

The SF Design Version of Le Smoking features a velvet tuxedo jacket with sculpted collar , prim sleeves and flexi . The jacket has a collar version that incorporates the shirt winged collar and jacket sleeves that incorporate the shirt cuff frills. But it also has a version without so that the jacket can be worn with other shirts and tops.
The dress shirt also has an individual winged collar and frilled sleeves so it can be worn on its own without the jacket. The shirt features a front frilled panel with a western style bowtie.
The dress pants are high waisted featuring 3 buttons, a faint stripe in the fabric, a black satin cummerbund and sculpted pant legs.
To complete the outfit a pair of black patent mary janes are included.

SF Design morning suits - wedding day

4 years ago i was asked by a dear friend of mine to make him a traditional english morning suit for his sl wedding - its still a very popular part of our formal range but i thought as a celebration of its 4 years and indeed my friends 4 year wedding anniversary i would release some new morning suits. Ive updated the pants and included both a plain pair and a pair with the lower vest on for a more natural look. The coat is the new Ascot coat sporting the familar oxford style coat tail on the skirt layer. The waistcoats /vests are detailed in an embroidered silk in a choice of 5 stunning colours and come on both jacket and shirt layers as well as a shirt version with sleeve filler. The shirt has a matching silk ascot tie/cravat textured on to it and there is also a sculpted part that can be worn to enhance it. As always with the sf design morning suit a prim pocket hanky is provided to match.

The vests shirts and ties can be bought as separates in the 5 colours and also as a fatpack.

After the ball is over...

Wow what a fabulous time we had last night at the opening party of High Society - thanks so much to all the wonderful friends and customers who made the evening successful - a special thanks to Guy Goodman for singing - his zoot suit riot is HOT , and the beautiful Emerald Bijoux for djing the rest of the party.

I promised 3 releases and this is the other - perfect for going home after a night dancing ;)

A retro style frilled dress shirt with open collar or buttoned options - as well as tucked and untucked - 2 pairs of dress pants one with the lower shirt on , one without, 2 bowties one tied one loose and flexi - a sculpted open collar. Ode to Autumn

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness..... SF Design celebrates autumn with the release of a new gown and tux.

SF Design Hamilton Tux - October is the first in a new line of tuxedos by SF Design

The tux features a 3/4 length coat , brocade waistcoat/vest and a choice of textured tie, prim collar and tie or prim bowtie. The collar is touch scripted, as is the flexi coat , for resizing. The belted pants feature prim legs and the shirt (on undershirt layer) just the whisper of translucent leaves imprinted on the crisp white cotton.

The ties and vest are textured with the same rich colours and material as the new SF Design October gown. A sweetheart bodice embellished with leaves at the neckline, a full brocade skirt and a semi transparent bolero jacket with flexi sleeves. For a touch of glamour on a cold evening throw on the matching cloak fastened with a copper chain.

and look at this jewelry - I asked my friend Alyssa Bijoux if she had anything that might match an autumn gown and she just happened to be making this beautiful silver and copper leaf set - and like all Alyssa's jewelry its modifiable so i tinted the copper leaves a lil darker for a perfect match. Brand new Tux from SF Design and cummerband /bowtie sets.

For too long I've been trying to find time to create a completely new tuxedo Im glad to say here it is. I really wanted to create a coat with a long and wide lapel but the way male avs shoulders pull the textures makes this really difficult , after much work Im finally happy with this although its not as wide as I would like. This new tux is based on a Victorian style tail coat with prim tails and a cutaway coat, matching pants with a side stripe, and a shirt on undershirt layer with winged collar. The first in the SFD Tails Tux range sports a red silk double breasted vest and prim cravat to match the Molto Bella Ballgown. The vest/waistcoat has the same embroidery and raw silk glow as the gown.Buy from slexchange here
Dont forget that you can find many colours and styles of vests and ties at SF Design that can be added to wear under this and today I'm releasing 6 new cummerband sets. The cummerband is textured on both the pants and the shirt to form a wide band across the waist. The shirt both on undershirt and shirt layer are included with a prim bowtie and winged collar tips.
