 The sf design venus gown has a rigged mesh base with luxurious flexi ostrich feathers attached to the bottom of the dress and as an optional boa/collar. The gown comes with an optional lace underbodice and matching shoes. Demo of mesh is in store.

 

This gown is also available with a system skirt and jacket base instead of the rigged mesh

At the end of January the scots celebrate the scottish poet Robert Burns and his work by having Burns Night, with this in mind sf design have released 5 new tartans in the highland formal range .
The mens formal includes prince charlie jacket, kilt with sporran in the stewart tartan , dress shirt with winged collar and bowtie, socks with kilt flashes and a 'fly plaid' for your shoulder.
The gowns feature puffed sleeves and black bodice with a velvet corset tied with tartan ribbons.
The skirt has billowing tartan fabric over a black underskirt.
Matching shoes are included for the ladies - high heels with a tartan bow.

The sf design speranza tux and gown are now available in grey scale , the ballgown features sculpted bodice and sculpted puff sleeves ending in flexi. The tux a fantastic flamboyant waistcoat designed by http://www.elysiumwaistcoats.com/ and brought to you in second life with their permission.

The gown and tux are already available in a rich violet blue , both outfits come with shoes included and  we are now able to offer you  this  burgundy vest and tie add on set.

its that time of year again - Fashion for Life 2012

that means....10 sims with over 200 stores selling wonderful items in aid of cancer research
....AND - gacha areas, a hunt, a raffle and a SALE- all with the end goal of raising funds for the American Cancer Society via SL.

Fashion for Life - new for the ladies

Although Fashion for Life is over , raising money for Relay for Life is not - there are many teams all over sl who are continuing their efforts to raise as much money as possible for the Cancer Research charity.
Many of the fashion for life items are being sold at the designers stores in the special RFL vendors.
The 4 sf design items can be found at our mainstores, the mens in the casual/business dept and the womens in High Society formal store.
The 4th of our items is this Briar Rose Gown

This gown is dedicated to Wiccan Sojourner who lost her fight to Lymphoma Dec 2010
and also to Feles Seitan who has been bereaved by cancer.
Feles gave her permission to recreate this red flowered version of the exclusive rfl Envy gown she purchased at the RFL auction in 2009

The gown features a tight satin bodice with full flexi skirt , an optional overlay of trailing roses and matching sandals.

sf design anniverary tuxedo and ballgown

You can almost hear the rustle of silk as you take to the ballroom floor in this elegant gown. Made to flow beautifully when you dance, the anniversary gown has been created especially to commemorate our 5 years anniversary.

It features a sculpted bodice - one with and one without resizer ( the one with resizer may appear no mod because of the script but is.) The detail of this gown is all in the back with its sculpted lace and diamonds above the tightly laced brocade bodice. The skirt is full with a ruffle of silk and lace. The gown comes with matching sculpted shoes and is available in berry , copper or sage.

Complimenting the ballgown is the sf design tuxedo - This distinguished and elegant tuxedo features a flexi jacket with silk brocade lapels and cuffs. The jacket also features prim sleeves and shoulderpads. The tuxedo pants have sculpted pant legs for a better fit over your shoes and comes with or without vest tips. The silk buttoned vest is on shirt layer with or without sleeve fillers. The crisp white dress shirt sports a sculpted wing collar and sculpted scrunch tie. Finally , as requested by my male customers  matching sculpted dress shoes with an inlay brocade.

RFL 7 deadly sins auction

Starting monday the Relay for Life clothing fair swings into action - 8 sims of designers , live music, djs and various opportunities to get yourselves a real bargain and donate money to cancer research at the same time.

During the clothing fair there will be a silent auction for 7 one off specially made dresses by 7 sl designers including SF Design. I was asked to create a dress inspired by a picture given to me of the sin of envy

A green taffeta ballgown was the result with a detailed bodice edging, an over skirt of ivy ( representing the consuming nature of envy) and a sculpted snake arm bracelet. Please come and place your bid for this one off gown and help cancer research.

The Valentine gown from SF Design could grace the red carpet at the BAFTA's - its folds of red satin drape seductively round the female figure hugging it tight at the bodice and flowing gracefully down tied at the right hip above the seductive side slit in the skirt. The gown comes with matching evening gloves and glitch pants, a velvet evening cloak and satin sandals adorned with ruby hearts.

SF Design Romance Gown

The latest gown from SF Design is a romantic, feminine vision of pink silk embroidered with random heart trails. It has a close fitted bodice with an optional sculpted halter neck tie. The bodice plunges low at the back but not too low ;). The gown includes matching prim sandals and matching bangle. Bound to get you noticed at the valentine ball this gown is available at the High Society branches of sf design

I don't get much time to shop but I have many favourite jewellers here in sl, as luck would have it today i found myself setting up a kiosk right next to Chrissy Ambrose designer of the Virtual Impressions store , she was just putting out the perfect jewelry to go with this new romance gown. I was amazed by the delicate and detailed craftmanship on these ear rings and necklace - decorated with tiny flowers and little pink hearts. - What a perfect valentine gift!

Ode to Autumn

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness..... SF Design celebrates autumn with the release of a new gown and tux.

SF Design Hamilton Tux - October is the first in a new line of tuxedos by SF Design

The tux features a 3/4 length coat , brocade waistcoat/vest and a choice of textured tie, prim collar and tie or prim bowtie. The collar is touch scripted, as is the flexi coat , for resizing. The belted pants feature prim legs and the shirt (on undershirt layer) just the whisper of translucent leaves imprinted on the crisp white cotton.

The ties and vest are textured with the same rich colours and material as the new SF Design October gown. A sweetheart bodice embellished with leaves at the neckline, a full brocade skirt and a semi transparent bolero jacket with flexi sleeves. For a touch of glamour on a cold evening throw on the matching cloak fastened with a copper chain.

and look at this jewelry - I asked my friend Alyssa Bijoux if she had anything that might match an autumn gown and she just happened to be making this beautiful silver and copper leaf set - and like all Alyssa's jewelry its modifiable so i tinted the copper leaves a lil darker for a perfect match. Included are bracelets, necklace and earrings.
