Second Life hosts another Fashion For Life - a great event in the Second Life Calendar.
This is the 10th Fashion Fair in aid of Cancer Research, the event will open its doors on the March 6th 2016 and run for 14 days , closing at 6pm slt on March 20th
The Clothing Fair 2016 promises to be even better than ever, featuring over 150 Clothing Designers , all of which have worked tirelessly to produce 3 items to be sold in aid of Cancer Research, live Music and DJ's to keep you entertained while you shop, plus a Photo Contest, Fashion Shows , Treasure Hunts, Gatchas and much much more.

SF Design has a store on the Bladerunner Sim, with the theme for this years Fashion for Life - 'That's Entertainment' I have created a tribute tuxedo based on the tux worn by David Bowie in the video of Let's Dance'

 In both male and female fit you can buy this mesh tuxedo knowing that all the proceeds go to Relay for Life.

Also selling for Relay for Life the Syra gown in an exclusive colour and with omega applier.

SF Design FFL Explorer- exclusive for fashion for life

If you didn't already know Fashion For Life in sl has started - 'Fashion for Life is the oldest and grandest of Second Life’s fashion event and one of Relay For Life of SL’s mega-events. It’s a ten sim fashion event featuring the generous offerings of more than 150 designers of clothing, accessories and poses ' Percentages from ALL sales are going to Cancer Research.
I have a new exclusive mesh outfit for men and women at the event sf design explorer - mesh safari suit with shorts (can be worn separately and pith helmet.) Demos available - you can pick up a free safari hat too in my store, with hat hair.

Finally @ Fashion For Life

Our final exclusive item for fashion for life is the mens sf design Max Outfit,
The outfit includes sculpted hat with flexi fur , mesh open hoodie and a black tshirt printed with - Live Life to the Max on the front and a galaxy picture on the back.

This outfit has been created for a special young man , Max has just turned 13, late last year he was diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy,  Max has faced his treatment courageously and stoically , he is particularly fond of his trapper hat and this is where the outfit has stemmed from.

All proceeds from this outfit go towards the Fashion For Life charity - the American Cancer Society.

sf design 'the earl' is most luxurious in relaxing attire :) - a red velvet jacket with black quilted shawl collar and cuffs. It comes with sculpted belt and a choice of lower jacket on skirt layer or as a sculpted prim. The outfit includes silk pyjama bottoms and matching slippers with coronet logo.

Latest sf design release features a special RFL edition

The latest release from sf design is Horatio - a frock coat ensemble with Georgian flair. I wanted to make a special RFL edition in purple who better to ask model it than Nevar Lobo and Amethyst Starostin 2 of the hard working team behind the clothing fair and dedicated RFL'ers.

The horatio outfit includes both long and short frock coats, long and short breeches, white stockings and shirt. The coat comes both with and without cuff lace and is available in male or female fit.

 I was asked to be involved in the clothing fair last year for the first time. I was totally blown away with the atmosphere and generosity of both designers and customers. The event was well organised and clearly focused, many of the people working so hard had personal experiences that motivated them to help with the cancer research cause. I jumped at the chance when asked to be involved again this year when Nevar and the team started planning it barely days after the last one had finished!

The clothing fair is open!!

SF Design has a store on sim 8 and has a tux and gown specially made for sale in aid of Relay for Life. 8 sims of designers each selling an item or items for RFL - what an opportunity - just look for the special rfl vendors in each store.

The sf design peace rose gown and tux will only be available during the RFL campaign , it will be available at the clothing fair and at the High Society stores until then.

I chose to design the fabric from a rl photo of a rose called 'peace' for these items.

The gown has a long skirt cut away at the front and a short skirt included. Matching sandals and optional prim collar and sleeves.

The last of the Hamilton tuxes this sports all the features of the hamilton with a vest , tie and bowtie made in the same fabric of the gown

RFL 7 deadly sins auction

Starting monday the Relay for Life clothing fair swings into action - 8 sims of designers , live music, djs and various opportunities to get yourselves a real bargain and donate money to cancer research at the same time.

During the clothing fair there will be a silent auction for 7 one off specially made dresses by 7 sl designers including SF Design. I was asked to create a dress inspired by a picture given to me of the sin of envy

A green taffeta ballgown was the result with a detailed bodice edging, an over skirt of ivy ( representing the consuming nature of envy) and a sculpted snake arm bracelet. Please come and place your bid for this one off gown and help cancer research.

The Penryn Festival 2008 in aid of Relay for Life (cancer research)

You are invited to a 36hr feast of live music and djs , all who have given their time to support Relay for Life. Come and listen to live music from America and Europe and djs playing all genres. Simply right click the land at Penryn and buy a pass to enter for the day 100lindens only per day. Also available a limited amount of exclusive tents at our festival camping sites urs for the weekend and to take home after the festival - complete with animations. Items for sale specially for RFL and 2 silent auctions make a bid for the General Lee car or Elvis' belt!
Every person who pays to come on to the site will get a goodie bag of exclusive festival items , this should be a fun event and we'd love to see you there :)

Ride For Relay

I'm pretty bad at saying no, and even worse at saying no to Nevar Lobo or the Relay Raiders team, so when Nomad Rovio contacted me asking me to make london transport uniforms for the Ride For Relay event (with 3 days notice) I relented reluctantly. Im so glad i did what a great team they are , i went over for the preview last night and the set is great!!
So get on down to the London Underground for a truly unique sl experience and hear the talented Spence Wilder today Wednesday 11th at 11am game time and 7pm game time.
